Ancient arch leading into the fortressed city of Volterra - built in approximately 400 B.C. The Etruseans were from around the Volterra area and invented the arch, which later was adopted by the Romans.
Yeah, I was thinking about that, but I was taking the photo for a story my wife was doing and for photojournalistic content, they like people in them, so I caught the police officer exiting the arch. I like a more simplified artistic look... maybe I'll go back to another shot that might work.

Amazing history! I'd like to see the person on the right cropped out. Showing the woman? standing alone in this photo seems more powerful. I want to be standing right where she is.
